Born from a caleidoscopic way of seeing, shaped by years of study across Brasil, Portugal, and Italy, and guided by the belief that the hand, when allowed to move slowly, can transform material into meaning.
ABOUT
I am Diana Bendocchi, a maker working at the intersection of art, craft, and material research. My practice was built between Salvador da Bahia, Lisbon, and Milan, where studies at FAUL and the Politecnico di Milano shaped my understanding of form, perception, and the act of making as a cultural gesture.
My Work
Every piece I create is unique and irreproduble, a material expression of a kaleidoscopic gaze rooted in the phenomenology of Merleau-Ponty. Through fibers, threads, and slow, deliberate construction, I create objects that carry intention. Each bag is an amulet: ti proteggo io * I protect you.
